Avoid Having A Plumbing Problem On Cold Weather Days

Roto-Rooter Tip: The winter season also brings on the holidays. Roto-Rooter recommends you avoid a plumbing problem by keeping in mind that the holiday can mean more guests and more strain on your plumbing. Avoid a plumbing problem by being mindful of keeping fat and grease from your holiday meals out of the sink, run your dishwasher at off hours to conserve water pressure for times when your guests are over, and turn the water heater a few degrees above 120 to accommodate overnighters who need to shower. Remember to keep the water heater temperature under 125 degrees Fahrenheit to prevent scalding.
